victorious defeat is what i would describe the silat match today. sorry guys. i intended to take a 2 weeks off but i guess i just couldn't help it. my injured fingers just couldn't resist the temptation of blogging.
why victorious defeat ?
maybe i just felt that i gave my best shot. it was quite an even match. the wasik( refree) told me it was a great match and i fought well. but i just need to curb down on the complains. it was in fact the most physical silat match i've ever came upon.i wasn't really that tired but man, it's like having 2 king kongs in one ring.colossal impact.the guy was of my physique,strength and for technique wise, i would give him a 7 out of 10.mine...a 5 ? or lower..i don't know
what gave him the edge is firstly, his experience. secondly, his eye contact. simply intimidating. i truly can feel that i-want-to-beat-you-to-pulp attitude by him.
i've to admit i truly hate defeats. i mean who does, right..but being in the losing end does not really mean you're defeated. if i've put in my heart and soul to it, no regrets. i've no right to feel down. so yea.im quite proud of myself.
but one thing is still for sure. a defeat is still a defeat. nothing can change that.
