Science and Religion : The weirdest couple

People seem to feel that those without faith are either tragic or amoral.

What is fascinating is how things like logic and deduction

are frowned upon as rebellious against God.

It would make sense if the key to survival in God's universe is faith.

Controversy of Darwinism vs God affects roots of civilization and

it can have tremendous consequences on a political level.

Faith and Science are sitting at the different ends of the spectrum.

Creation is a divine miracle, by definition

an act of God beyond the physical laws.

The evolution controversy reveals just how much science is driven by deep religious commitments.

Men constantly on the hunt to devise theories to explain the evolution of all life

and they are discovering natural mechanisms which can evolve new plants and animals.

Have men really discover any mechanism of genetics which can evolve anything really new ?

No,

they have not.

But can they ever do it ?

I doubt so.

As long as this failure of evolutionary science continues,

divine special creation continues to be an intellectually and scientifically viable belief for anybody,

especially scientists to hold.

Hefty-sided it may be,

I think I will just stand on God's side than to be labelled an ancestor of BIG FOOT.
