people always say

"i'm going to make full use of my life"

how could you possibly make full use of your life if you dont even bloody know when you're going to die ?

instead people should start rephrasing what they've said

"i'm going to make the best out of life"

i do not know if you morons are living the best

or making the best out of your lives

but i do want to share my humble opinion to how living to satisfaction is attainable

1) Live in the Moment

This is a tough self-actualization step for many people:

STOP WORRYING ABOUT TOMORROW.

Instead,

live in today.

Live in right now.

Live as if tomorrow will worry about itself.

After all,

what can we do tomorrow until tomorrow gets here?

All we can do is whatever is before us today.

2) Give it away

Go ahead and be frugal when it comes to your bills, your clothes or whatever else you want to save money on

just be generous with PEOPLE stuff.

Give a 25% tip to the waitress who served you that great meal.

Give $5 to a kid you see at mosque...jgn plak korang lupe donate tabong amal mesjed

Give away hugs like you get paid for each one ("sugar" for me please)

Take someone out to lunch

TODAY !!!(well..i just did..nyeheheheheheheh...*wagbrow*)

3) Be Optimistic

Everyone likes to be around the "realistic optimist".

The "RO" is a person who can acknowledge that everything isn't always great,

but that somehow we will all make it through.

Knowing that trials and setbacks are both inevitable as well as temporary makes you an asset to the people around you.

4) "If you can't say anything nice..."

"...don't say anything at all."

If you want to really help people, give up trying to correct them.

Instead, compliment them on their strengths.

Will they still make mistakes that, to you, are obvious and need correcting?

Sure,

but I have found that there is ALWAYS someone willing to tell others where they are failing,

it is rare to find someone who will tell others where they are succeeding.

my momma gave me one hell of a "spelling"

and trust me

it got me seriously worried

mum : yat..where did you go ? now then you come home

me : ummm..i went out with a friend ah ibu..but before that, i studied in school for awhile (hey..which i really did, ok)

mum : friend eh..you date your friend is it..don't think ibu dumb eh

me : haha..takde la ibu..just a friend

mum : better be..because i really dont want you to ruin your opportunity to going into a good university by some girl

me : yes ibu

mum : not only that..i also dont want to see you getting married after your masters..get yourself a good job and then..only you can worry bout getting married

me : haha..marriage..aduuu..hello ibu..im only 19..i know..i will strive to do my best la..insyaAllah..i will make you and Abah proud..insyaAllah..dont worry

you know how parents can be really over-protective

very constricting at times

but i somehow find its beneficial for me

it keeps me on the right track

and definitely put my mind at focus

afterall, my parents want me to continue our family (including extended families) legacy of having degree holders in the family

key word : holders

not one

but a minimum of 2

currently my family

we had 2 (my 2 elder sisters)

as i thought it would be easier for me

they expect the only BOY of the family to surpass my elder sisters

so yeaa..to actually meet the expectations is like having a boulder on my shoulders

with addition of the crane and the bulldozer

haha

now im stressed up
