Hari Raya should be a festival of joy, happiness,

mealy-mouthed apologies and flooded with crocodile tears

but it could also be a festival of sorrow for some

while other people were wearing "glitters" all over

but not for my neighbour

she looked crappy

looking all emotionally-drenched

a month of fasting has indeed ended with the biggest test of all for her

her mum passed away on eve of raya

Think about it, people

before you even pop that bloody kueh tart inside your mouth

think bout it

think bout your loved ones

be bloody grateful that God give you the chance to celebrate with your loved once again

and be thankful that you're fucking alive to enjoy the delicious penis head-sized kueh makmur
